Peter qualified in 1976 and became a partner in 1979. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an accredited Mediator (CEDR), a member of the Advocacy Training Council and an Honorary Bencher of Gray's Inn.
Peter specialises in general commercial litigation. In addition to acting for clients in a very broad range of commercial disputes, he has also been involved in a number of public and judicial Inquiries,the "Guildford Four", the collapse of Barings and as the lead solicitor representing almost 500 individual soldiers and ex-soldiers involved as witnesses in the "Bloody Sunday" Inquiry. He is currently involved in the Rosemary Nelson Inquiry. He has also represented individuals before professional and sports Disciplinary Tribunals.
