Louise obtained a law degree from Westminster University. Following qualification in 1997 she joined Payne Hicks Beach after a period of time as a private client stockbroker and with City firm Beachcroft Stanleys. She became a partner in 2000.
Louise specialises in tax planning for both UK and non-UK domiciled individuals, in particular on the use of trusts as a means of wealth preservation. She deals with all forms of inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax planning for a diverse client base including family owned businesses, landed estates and sophisticated investors.
Her City background gives her a greater understanding of the investment world than many lawyers and this is reflected in her experience in establishing efficient holding structures for all forms of investment asset from commercial property to hedge funds. She has a growing Irish client base and deals frequently with Irish advisers to provide cohesive advice to individuals moving between the UK and the Republic.
