Lisa specialises exclusively in employment law, having qualified as a solicitor in 1996. She joined Payne Hicks Beach in June 2003 after working at City firms. Lisa was made an Associate in January 2006.
Lisa advises both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, including the drafting of employment documentation; behind the scenes advice on disputes and employment procedures including requests for flexible working and the statutory disciplinary/dismissal and grievance procedures; litigation in the Employment Tribunal, High Court and County Court for claims including wrongful and/or unfair dismissal, discrimination, confidentiality and non-compete arrangements, and working time; the negotiation and drafting of termination agreements; advising on business transfers (TUPE); and the implementation of redundancies. She also acts for employment agencies, and advises on consultancy and secondment arrangements. Lisa is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
