Richard specialises in corporate and commercial work, particularly on commercial contracts and secured lending. Much of his current work involves commercial contracts in the wholesale motor vehicle market and he has particular expertise in wholesale motor vehicle finance (including receivables financing). He has most recently worked extensively on a vehicle stock financing for a UK-wide dealer network.
Richard also has expertise in e-commerce, having been involved in a wide range of legal advice relating to websites, including contracts for web-based services and issues relating to the sale of goods via the internet and the contractual aspects of on-line computer systems.
He also deals with corporate finance and related security issues, as well as corporate acquisitions and disposals.
