Peter specialises in selling, buying and leasing landed estates and commercial property. He acts for high value residential property clients and many well-known institutions, including The Automobile Association, The Salvation Army, The Trevor Estate and several Fiat Companies, for which Payne Hicks Beach also does corporate and dispute resolution work. He also acts for a number of families with property portfolios and for farming clients, having a good relationship with a number of agricultural agents. He also has expertise in leasehold enfranchisement law.
Peter is Chairman and director of the Trevor Estate in Knightsbridge. As such, he addresses issues concerning the strategy of the estate, purchase and sales of land and lease renewals and also the estate's investment management.
One of Peter's recent transactions involved enabling the use of Salvation Army land in Essex, the Hadleigh Farm Site, to be the venue for the 2012 Olympic mountain biking event.
Peter was appointed the firms Managing Partner in August 2011.
